RESEARCH FROM BRAINworks TO DEMONSTRATE RIGOR
The findings from our final research report suggest important opportunities to deepen teacher practice in understanding, designing, activating, and assessing rigor in student work and learning. The data provide a useful roadmap for deepening professional development for educators in attending to rigor in their teaching and learning practices.

OUTCOMES FROM THE FIRST THREE YEARS
Our first publication provides the full picture of our unique model for delivering professional development in arts integration in Berkshire County. We offer a detailed outline of our process, goals, outcomes, and participants across three years of delivering sustained and intensive professional development.
“In addition to the pedagogy, the practice of BRAINworks and how it is structured ... has made an impact on my professional life as an educator. During the first year in a new curriculum, I might not take the risks I’m taking now, but, with the support of workshops, collaborative time with colleagues, and the expectation to turn in a written lesson, I’m making that leap and reaping benefits.”
